In less than a week, the next Words Pictures Movies extravaganza will be on the internet for all to see. So far the usual chaos and problems are popping up so I feel really good about the film. Don't forget to check it out early Monday morning on the 5th of June!!! (and by early we mean around 3AM).

Prepare yourselves for the awesome power that is The Next Words Pictures Movies Weekend Film.

The Details:

• We're shooting Saturday, June 3rd, editing Sunday June 4th, and will have a finished film somewhere on the web before we go to bed. Hopefully before sunrise.
• The film is tentatively titled "An Excellent Lover", but that seems to change day to day.
• The approximate running time is 8 minutes -- Our longest film to date.
• This film is a romantic comedy. In a departure from our usual fare, nobody will be shot, stabbed, blown up, punched in the face, or kicked in the balls.

If you reread the post below this one, you may notice that I changed the shoot day to June 3d. Why? Because that was what I had intended to write all along.

Sometimes numbers confuse me.

So to reiterate, the next weekend film will be shot on the 3d of June and all postproduction will be completed by the end of the 4th -- until further notice.

So we've begun pre-production on the next weekend film, with EVERY intention of shooting it on the 3d of June and having it online by midnight of the 4th.

All I can tell you is that it is remotely related to that thing called LOVE that seems to always escape me. Sigh. But you're here to read about movies you love, the movies Words Pictures Movies makes, not about my sad and lonely personal life.
